MEGADRUMS - "Terra Nova", 1999
Terra Nova is a journey through a new musical territory.
After initially creating a link with our ancestors in "Terra
Profunda", the rest of the album focuses on the future
- since we are at the beginning of a new millenium. It describes
a vision of truely communal way of life for this planet.
Terra Nova expresses "joie de vivre" but also
meditation. It wants to be listened to, but also danced
to. This CD includes most of the musicians, who have worked
with MegaDrums in the last 15 years. Terra Nova is a combination
of rhythm and sound an mixture of archaic and modern elements.
Music, which uncompromisingly sends it puls out into the
new millenium.
